As a former book hater turned lover, I can say that although I love books, I’m pretty picky when it comes to whether or not I like a book.
Is it cozy? Is it comfy? Are the characters annoying? Is this a cozy Hallmark movie book or is this just a mess?
Well, here at Amy reviews, I intend to make book reviews for you! That means, no nonsense, no fake reviews, and complete honesty. If booktok says they love a book, and I hate it, i’ll tell you if it is worth your time.
My criteria for reviewing books on this site will be whether it gives comfy, cozy and of course does it bring me joy. Of course, not all books are for me but they may be for YOU.
So, because this is Amy Reviews for YOU, I will put all in to consideration when reviewing. I will be try to be as unbiased as I can, because chances are a book not for me could be a book for YOU.
I also have a separate website where I occasionally post my reviews. But here on Substack, you can get all my reviews, and viewer suggested reviews for just 8 dollars a month!
